Our Acclimation to Mount Kilimanjaro is designed to help you adapt gradually to the mountain climate and changing difficulty climbing mountains. Our program is carefully crafted to acclimate hikers to the rigorous high-altitude hiking, observing fitness, and preparedness for an exhilarating ascent to Mount Kilimanjaro.

With a team of seasoned mountaineers and expert guides, we are committed to providing you with an adventure and experience. Our program cost includes 3 preparatory hikes in November to maintain your fitness so that your body adjusts gradually to the reduced oxygen levels at higher altitudes, minimizing the risk and impact of altitude sickness. We are passionate about mountaineering and prioritize every hiker’s well-being to ensure a secure and worthy experience.

This program will be part of our Fall Calendar and will elevate you to Kilimanjaro, offered separately in a similar schedule beginning on November 2, 2024, and ending on December 11, 2024. Book today. Our team is ready to walk you to the mountains. We welcome you to the arena.

What to Wear and Carry when Acclimating to Mount Kilimanjaro

Each event in the acclimation calendar details the right attire to wear. We have a gear checklist here that provides the right gear when climbing Mount Kenya/Kilimanjaro.

Ticket & Booking Acclimation to Mount Kilimanjaro

• Advantage program cost of KES 85,000. Valid until November 1.
  • This can be paid in installments as follows;
    • A non-refundable program deposit of KES. 10,000 by November 1, 2024.
    • KES. 20,000 by November 15, 2024.
    • Clear balance by November 29, 2024.
• The single events are open to every hiker who wants to join at a single event cost once the program starts. Catch as many as you can!

Readiness Checklist

✅Sit, relax, and imagine. Where your mind is, the feet will reach there.

✅Take exercises at home, near home, or on the hiking trails.

✅Hydrate often. Water is a medicine for metabolism and trustable support when acclimating.

✅Start where you are with what you have. Wear your sports shoes, hike with them where friendly, understand why hiking boots are important, and plan to buy one. This is where it starts.

✅Stock the rest of the hiking gear slowly. By the arrival of the event, you will have all the necessary hiking gear.

✅Keep in touch. We are here to support you.

✅Maintain a positive spirit. Unlearn from what you heard about hiking.

✅Follow our guides. We have been there before and know what is recommended.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for the Acclimation to Mount Kilimanjaro

For this and other events outside Kenya, the program cost is offered as a bundle and does not have flexible adjustments or refunds along the way. However, we understand how natural eventualities happen and allow the following. If your installments are timely, and for any reason, you decide to cancel the ticket midway, the ticket is flexible. If cancellation/postponement is made 4 days before the next event, you can use 4.5% of the total excess total program fee on a future event of your choice. Otherwise, you forfeit 6% of the total excess fee on every preparatory hike missed. If you do all preparatory hikes and want to cancel the expedition at least one week before, you get a refund or a carry-forward of 60% of the total excess program fee.
